2 shots gin

1 shot triple sec

1shot lime juice

2 dashes angostura bitters

Mix the ingredients in a coctail shaker and shake over ice. Serve in a martini glass, garnish with twist of orange peel

Named for the Pegu Club in Malaysia where it originated, apparently this was a big hit between the wars at the Savoy Club in London. I have served this to many, and no one can guess that there is gin in it. . .this is a gin drink for non-gin lovers.
